My decision to leave my father’s Buckhead church and establish Fruits of Life COGIC was driven by a mix of motivations. My father, a charismatic man, has always been surrounded by admiring church ladies, and I couldn’t ignore the allure of power and influence that came with leading my own congregation.

I believe that all men are born with desires, shaped by forces beyond our control. If my desires differ from the norm, it is not by choice but by divine design. I have struggled with the guilt of my attractions, praying for change, yet finding no resolution.

It seems unfair for a pastor like myself to live in torment over natural desires. Just as my father is drawn to the women who admire him, I am drawn to the beauty of young men. These boys, often burdened by societal judgments, find solace and acceptance within our church.

Israel, a fine young man, embodies the innocence and potential I aim to nurture. His baptism, a sacred ritual I had the honor of conducting, was a moment of profound connection. In our congregation, baptisms are performed in natural purity, without the barriers of clothing.
